When a hearing aid wearer wants to listen to music they can often find the experience rather dull and lacking because hearing aids are designed for speech not music and the frequency spectrum for speech is not as wide to that of music.

So whats the solution? I hear you ask, well if your lucky enough to have a hearing aids with addition features such as a Music Program that is accessable via a button on the device or remote control then your music will come alive again because a lot of the adaptive features needed to enhance speech are turned off or adapted for music to give a more linear response with the frequency range extended.
